Sophie Raymond named Director of Sales, Canada at Ultimate Jet Vacations

Sophie Raymond has been named Director of Sales for Canada at Ultimate Jet Vacations (UJV).

UJV is a concierge-style wholesaler that customizes travel itineraries and packages to 5-Star hotels with commercial airlines and private jets while handling all aspects of trip planning and execution.

The company’s focus, Raymond told PAX, is “on excellent customer service and keeping things simple.”

UJV’s team of travel advisors have collectively built and nurtured strong relationships with travel partners to ensure it can extend the best value to mutual clients, she said.

Raymond has more than 30 years of experience in the travel industry, combining skills in sales, management and aviation.

Her career path includes Signature Vacations, Air Canada Vacations and, most recently, Mexico-based luxury brand Velas Resorts, where she worked for more than six years.

By joining UJV, and in maintaining her relationships with clients, peers and friends in the travel industry, Raymond looks forward to progressing in the luxury market space, which she says has a bright future as travel gradually resumes.

“With people travelling less frequently right now, they will certainly be seeking out quality travel experiences over quantity,” Raymond said. “Space will be the new luxury. Therefore, upscale spacious suites and villas will be in demand.”
