Sophie Raymond departs Ultimate Jet Vacations
Sophie Raymond has revealed that her role as director of sales for Canada at Ultimate Jet Vacations (UJV) is ending.
"It is with a mixture of emotions that I announce that my adventure with UJV, a company I have loved and still respect, is coming to an end," wrote Raymond in a letter to partners on Wednesday (May 31). "I would like to emphasize that, despite this situation, I retain a deep respect for UJV and all those with whom I have had the privilege of working."
UJV is a concierge-style wholesaler that customizes travel itineraries and packages to 5-Star hotels with commercial airlines and private jets while handling all aspects of trip planning and execution.
As PAX previously reported, Raymond joined the company in April of 2021. Prior to UJV, she was the Canadian regional sales director for Mexico-based luxury brand Velas Resorts.
"I wish to express my sincere gratitude for the trust you have placed in me and the relationships we have forged during my time at UJV. I have enjoyed every moment with you and am grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown me over the years," Raymond wrote in her letter.
She emphasized that her move "in no way diminishes my respect and commitment to UJV."
"I'm grateful for the opportunities they have offered me, and for the values of quality and excellence to which they adhere," she wrote. "UJV continues to offer exceptional luxury travel experiences, and I have no doubt that this will continue in the future."
To ensure a smooth transition, Raymond has handed over her UJV responsibilities to a "competent colleague who will be able to offer you the same level of personalized service and attention you deserve."
"I am confident that you will be in good hands," she wrote, inviting travel advisors to contact UJV Customer Services for further assistance at bd@ultimatejetvacations.com
"I would like to sincerely thank you for your trust, loyalty and support throughout my time at UJV. It has been a privilege to work with you, and I am grateful for the memories and experiences we have shared," Raymond wrote, adding that she looks forward to "seeing you soon!"
