Name: Cathy Ieritano

Company: Agent@Home Transat Travel

Where do you live? Bolton, Ontario

How long have you been a travel agent? 36 years

What is your specialty?

Offering travelers that unique experience and personal touch that is remembered for a lifetime.

What do you love most about being a travel agent?

Fulfilling travel dreams that may be as simple as a beach destination to exploring the wildlife in Galapagos or getting that perfect photo as the sun rises over Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Sharing our passion from places we visit which represents all that is authentic in that destination.

What's one travel trend you've noticed as of late?

Clients are seeking ‘’experience’’ as they are looking for the off-the-beaten path type of destinations, culinary destinations, and destinations rich in history and culture.

Of all the bookings you’ve made, which itinerary and/or travel package are you most proud of?

There have been several that I could mention, but one that I felt a real accomplishment in putting together was a customized trip to Brazil and Peru and the Galapagos. The couple expressed such gratitude and appreciation.

What's your number one piece of advice to other travel agents?

Knowledge and dedication to detail is power. Showing confidence and giving that personal touch is what builds a lifetime client relationship.
