Jacinda Lowry named associate VP of Club Med Canada, brand eyes growth in Ontario

Jacinda Lowry has been named associate vice-president of Club Med in Canada as the all-inclusive brand continues its North American expansion.

Lowry, now based in Toronto, will lead Club Med’s mission to gain market share in English Canada, particularly in Ontario, reads a press release. She starts her new role in September.

She brings extensive sales experience and has successfully led strategic initiatives since joining Club Med in 2010 as director of meetings and events for the Canadian market.

Since then, she has contributed to the development of the brand and its commercial success, achieving ambitious goals to increase Club Med's market share in Canada for groups and individual travel in her most recent role as director of sales.

"We are pleased to announce this new role for Jacinda. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved appointment. We are confident that, under her leadership, we will achieve important goals and gain substantial market share in English Canada," said Vincent Giraud, general manager of Canada and vice-president of sales operations at Club Med.

Ontario, the brand says, is a region that “still has much to learn about Club Med's premium offering.”

Nathan Scarazzati to oversee Quebec

Nathan Scarazzati will also join Jacinda’s team as regional sales director for the Quebec market starting October 1.

The goal of this new role will be to maintain valuable relationship with travel advisors, says Club Med.

Scarazzati has worked for Club Med for six years, most recently as a data business intelligence manager.
