FRS Clipper has a new sales team for Seattle-Victoria travel

FRS Clipper, which provides ferry and vacation planning services in the Pacific Northwest, is welcoming business development managers Krista Holmberg and Lisa Symonds to the team in an effort to provide bespoke travel experiences for guests.

“We are very excited to have Krista and Lisa join our Seattle-based sales team,” said Chief Operating Officer of FRS Clipper, Gordon Dirker. “Their many years of experience and industry relations will support our continued growth opportunities through the channels and travel trade partners.”

Leading the new sales team is Holmberg, a 30-year veteran of the travel industry.

“I am looking forward to working closely with travel agents as the local Business Development Manager, designing bespoke trips for our valued FRS Clipper guests," she stated. 

With experiences at Holland America Line, Club Med, Scenic Luxury River Cruises and Emerald Cruises, Krista brings invaluable expertise in curating unique itineraries that showcase the best of the Pacific Northwest.

Symonds is tasked with overseeing all aspects of creating unique corporate team experiences. 

Before joining the FRS Clipper team, she spent many years in hospitality, travel, outdoor, and events including Holland America Line, Waterways Cruises and Events, Compass Outdoor Adventures and REI. 

“As a passionate advocate for Victoria and newcomer to the FSR Clipper sales team, I’m excited about assisting Seattle businesses in discovering the unparalleled FRS Clipper experience. I look forward to introducing the transformative benefits of team bonding beyond the office walls on the captivating waters together,” she stated.

Since 1986, FRS Clipper has provided transportation, tours and accommodation packages for more than eight million travellers. 

“Travel advisors and corporate partnerships have always been key to our success, we are delighted that we will now be able to proactively drive sales through these partnerships once again,” Dirker added.

Travel between Seattle, WA and Victoria, BC, takes two hours and forty-five minutes via the fast and convenient Clipper ferry, connecting downtown Seattle and Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
