Christopher Jeffrey-Racine exits Explora Journeys

In recent days, several members of the travel industry received “an important update” from Explora Journeys informing them that Christopher Jeffrey-Racine is no longer part of the company’s team.

Since March 24, 2025, Jeffrey-Racine had served as a “business relations expert” for the luxury cruise line of the MSC Group. His territory covered Quebec, the Atlantic provinces, and the Ottawa region.

Explora Journeys’ update provided no details about this change within the team.

“We thank [Christopher Jeffrey-Racine] for his contribution and wish him every success in his future endeavours,” stated a note signed by “The Explora Journeys Team.”

The message sent by Patricia Di Benedetto, head of business relations for Explora’s national and key accounts in Canada, reassures partners that the company’s commitment remains unchanged.

“Please rest assured that our commitment to you and your business remains unchanged. Our team is fully mobilized to ensure seamless continuity, and we are here to support you without interruption,” she wrote.

Jeffrey-Racine open to new challenges

When contacted by PAX, Jeffrey-Racine confirmed that he is available for new opportunities in the industry.

Without providing details about the circumstances of his departure, he stated that he greatly appreciated his experience at Explora Journeys, a company for which he says he retains the highest regard and whose product quality he highlights.

Before representing Explora Journeys, Jeffrey-Racine served as a territory manager (BDM) at Playa Hotels & Resorts for Quebec, the Atlantic provinces, and Ottawa.

He was also once a strategic account manager at Royal Caribbean International for Quebec and New Brunswick, and a business development representative for Transat.
