Celebrity's Ken Brooks announces retirement

Celebrity Cruises' Ken Brooks, director of sales & marketing, Canada, has announced his retirement.

The news broke last night, as Brooks and a few members of the Celebrity team were in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for the Celebrity Edge Naming Ceremony Inaugural Cruise, during which famed activist and Celebrity godmother Malala Yousafzai christened the ship with its official name.

The naming event brought together more than 3,000 guests, employees, crew members and students to commemorate the debut of Celebrity’s first new ship in six years and first new ship series in more than a decade.
