Andi Bacho to depart Playa Hotels & Resorts

One of Playa Hotels & Resorts’ admired BDMs, Andi Bacho, is leaving the company after three years, according to a message that was posted to Facebook.

“This was very much a personal decision, and one that wasn’t made lightly,” Bacho wrote. “I’ve absolutely loved my time with Playa Hotels & Resorts, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, growth, and most importantly, the people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside over the past three years.”

Taking on her BDM role at Playa in Ontario, "stepping into the shoes of Amanda Morris, who set the bar incredibly high, was both an honour and a challenge,” she said.

“I’m so thankful for her leadership, mentorship, and trust throughout this journey!” she wrote.

“The travel industry and this community mean so much to me – you’re not getting rid of me yet!” Bacho said.
