Last week,PAX joined travel pros in Europe on the Rhine River aboard the Avalon Panorama for Avalon Waterways' third-annual River Cruise Summit, an event held in partnership with the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA).

The invite-only gathering (which saw more than 450 advisors apply for a spot) revolved around the festive magic of Christmas markets in Switzerland, Germany and France.

In addition to touring destinations, attendees had a chance to participate in daily networking, expert-led workshops, and content-creation opportunities—all designed to help boost sales in the expanding river cruise market.
