Wymara Resort + Villas in Turks and Caicos has announced a wave of new developments.

Owned by Canadian entrepreneur Bruce Maclaren, the property is added a new oceanfront restaurant called Land + Sea located at the secluded Wymara Villas + Beach Club.

Led by Executive Chef Andrew Mirosch, the open-air venue promises a sophisticated dining experience featuring premium cuts, sustainably sourced seafood, and bold island flavours.

Land + Sea joins Wymara’s award-winning culinary lineup, which includes the Tripadvisor-topping Indigo and Blue Water Bistro.

“From the start, my goal with Wymara Villas was to design a place where architecture and landscape work together to create something extraordinary,” said Maclaren in a press release. “With the launch of Land + Sea and our flagship villas, we are delivering a level of luxury and seclusion that is truly unmatched in the Caribbean.”

Complementing this culinary expansion is the launch of the Azure Villa, Wymara’s largest and most luxurious villa to date.

Spanning nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor living, Azure features six en-suite bedrooms, a T-shaped infinity pool, an overwater swim platform, and multiple spaces for entertaining.

As the first of three flagship six-bedroom villas being built, the spacious new villas will be among the largest and most luxurious full-service, private accommodations on the island.

Adding to these achievements, Wymara has earned Green Globe Certification, a distinction placing it at the forefront of sustainable resorts in the Caribbean. The certification recognizes the property’s far-reaching initiatives, including plastic-free operations, smart water management, coral reef conservation, and more than $300,000 invested in local youth and community programs.

“Sustainability is not just a box we check, it’s embedded into everything we do,” said Shelley Rincon, CEO, Wymara Resort + Villas. “From protecting the reefs to empowering our local community, we believe true luxury means leaving a positive, lasting impact.”

Wymara has also expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Eduardo Del Risco as General Manager.

With nearly two decades of experience at leading luxury brands including Kimpton and The Ritz-Carlton, Eduardo will oversee Wymara’s next phase of growth, with a focus on elevating service and operations as the resort advances toward Forbes Five Star status.

Recognized with the Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Rating for the second consecutive year, Wymara stands as one of only three properties in Turks and Caicos to hold this distinction.
