Woodward brings indoor skiing, snowboarding and more to Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya
AIC Hotel Group has announced the opening of the brand-new Woodward at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, the company’s first action-sport facility in Mexico.
The facility features more than 20,000 air conditioned square feet of state-of-the-art equipment, including a complete indoor concrete skatepark, pump tracks, foam pits, trampolines, jump to resi-landing, cheer and tumble floor, a parkour zone and mega ramps. In addition, the facility features indoor dryland snowboarding and skiing with ParkBoard and ParkSki, which are snowboards and skis with wheels on the bottom.
The outside of the facility will feature the Woodward WreckTangle ninja obstacle challenge (coming in September), designed to ignite spatial awareness, athleticism, agility and amusement while encouraging guests to strategically move through challenging obstacles such as the "Rope Swing to Cargo Crawl" and "Rotating Rings.”
Woodward Riviera Maya also includes an interactive digital media space where GoPro cameras can be checked out to digitally record participant's time at the facility. The digital media program also encompasses Hard Rock's Music Lab, which is divided into three unique classes – Jam Band, Spin Session and RockTube – incorporating the brand's distinct musical namesake into the Woodward experience.
To celebrate the launch of Woodward Riviera Maya, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya is offering vacationers an exclusive chance to be amongst the first to try their skill at the facility with the "Grand Opening Package," which offers up to two free introductory sessions per room for booking now until Sept. 30, 2017, with travel from Sept. 1 until Dec. 22, 2017.
