Sandos Cancun to become an adults-only resort on Jan. 1

Calling all adults over 18. Sandos Hotels & Resorts is transitioning Sandos Cancun to an exclusive adult-only resort, starting January 1, 2025. 

The move marks a significant shift from the brand's current adult-oriented concept to meet the evolving needs of our guests, the company said in a press release. 

The change will also be accompanied by a revamped entertainment offering that aligns perfectly with our new focus. Guests can look forward to themed parties, international music curated by our resident DJ, a worldclass culinary selection, and daily events designed to surprise and delight.

“We are dedicated to enhancing the guest experience in every way possible,” said David Hernandez, managing director of Sandos Cancun. “The shift to an adults-only atmosphere allows us to offer a more tailored and exclusive vacation, filled with unique experiences, top-tier entertainment, and unmatched luxury.”

 In the exclusive adults-only environment, the entertainment team will curate vacations "filled with glamour and fun," the brand said. 

The resident DJ will set the perfect soundtrack with the freshest beats, all against the stunning backdrop of the Caribbean Sea. The highlight of the day will be the events at the three infinity pools, designed to leave guests in awe. As the sun sets, the excitement continues with exclusive events under the stars. 

Guests can indulge in themed parties, gala dinners, exceptional mixology, and top-notch shows in one of Mexico’s most glamorous destinations.

To further enhance the adults-only experience, an international gastronomic journey awaits across five specialty restaurants. Whether the preference is Asian, Italian, or Mediterranean cuisine, every dish is crafted to delight the palate.
