Sandals Foundation distributes 45,000 toys across Caribbean in annual holiday drive

The Sandals Foundation delivered 45,000 toys across nine Caribbean islands in its largest annual toy drive, marking over a decade of holiday giving that has distributed more than 170,000 toys to date.

The philanthropic arm of Sandals and Beaches Resorts partnered with Spin Master, Jazwares and The Toy Foundation to reach children in Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia, The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, Barbados, Curaçao and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Spin Master's Toy Movement donated Rubik's Cubes, Kinetic Sand kits, puzzles, games and plushies. 

The Toy Foundation contributed building blocks, LEGOs and dinosaur figurines. 

Jazwares Cares donated 10,000 Squishmallows plush toys.

Jamaica received 18,000 toys. 

The Foundation and Sandals South Coast team members hosted more than 400 children in Whitehouse, Westmoreland—a community recovering from Hurricane Melissa—for a celebration featuring music, crafts, storytelling and psychosocial activities with Sesame Workshop characters.

"The holidays are about hope, the kind that reassures every child that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved," said Heidi Clarke, executive director of the Sandals Foundation.

The toy drive is part of the Foundation's broader commitment to education, youth development, environmental programs and cultural preservation across Caribbean communities.
