Sandals’ 10-minute training returns with Dunn’s River deep dive

Unique Vacations Canada is bringing back its bite-sized “Sandals and Beaches Resorts…in 10 Minutes” training series this fall, with the next session putting the spotlight on Sandals Dunn’s River in Jamaica.

The live training session, developed exclusively for the Canadian market, will take place Friday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. EDT.

Lorna Richards, national training manager at Unique Vacations Canada, will host the 10-minute discussion alongside Carnel Smith, director of sales, groups and conventions at Sandals Dunn’s River.

The session will give Canadian travel advisors a quick overview of the Ocho Rios resort and its key selling points.

Located on a private white-sand beach, Sandals Dunn’s River has a boutique feel with 260 rooms and suites. The modern all-inclusive resort is built around a series of pools designed to flow like its namesake.

The property also features elevated suite designs and several culinary concepts, including BLŪM Coffee Shop and the Rum Club – both firsts for the Sandals Resorts portfolio.

The training comes ahead of the winter travel season, when Jamaica will see direct air service from several Canadian gateways.

Flights will be available from Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, London, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax, expanding access to Jamaica and resorts such as Sandals Dunn’s River.
