RIU Specialist Program launches in Canada

RIU Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of the RIU Specialist Program in Canada, available in both English and French. The program will provide travel agents the necessary tools and resources to sell with complete confidence any RIU property located in Mexico, North & Central America and the Caribbean. The program dedicates a complete chapter to Sunwing / Signature, RIU's exclusive partner in Canada. The courses offered in this program provide information in an extremely visual, simple and fun manner, allowing each agent to complete the certification under their own schedule. Travel agents are taught about the three brands RIU offers for each type of clientele: Riu Classic, Riu Palace and Riu Plaza; and are able to learn about the special features of each hotel, receive key facts from each RIU destination and are evaluated through a multiple choice exam at the end of each chapter. The RIU Specialist Program is part of the existing Riu Partner Club, the travel agent loyalty program from RIU Hotels & Resorts. After finishing the course, the travel agent is certified as a specialist in the RIU product and receives an official certificate making her or him a RIU Specialist Agent.
