Preferred Hotels & Resorts adds 18 new member properties

Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 18 new member properties to its global portfolio between April 1 and June 30, 2025.

Ranging from a brand-new and distinguished Texas Inn to a historic castle-turned-luxury-retreat in the Austrian Alps, each of the independent properties promise authentic experiences that spark curiosity and encourage travellers to discover more destinations

The property highlights include:

Amara Singapore – Lifestyle Collection

Located in Tanjong Pagar’s Central Business District, Amara Singapore has been thoughtfully refreshed to blend heritage with modern comfort. The 389-room hotel features culturally inspired interiors, eco-friendly amenities, and offers experiences like heritage tours and culinary workshops.

Castello di Velona Resort Thermal SPA & Winery (Montalcino, Italy) – L.V.X. Collection.

Set in a restored medieval fortress in Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia, Castello di Velona Resort, with 45 rooms and suites, offers luxury stays with panoramic views, in-room thermal baths, and its own vineyard. Guests enjoy a full-service spa, Tuscan dining, Brunello wine tastings, and experiences like truffle hunting, hot air balloon rides, and cooking classes.

Green Pastures (Austin, Texas) – L.V.X. Collection

Opening in Fall 2025, Green Pastures is a 63-room inn set on seven oak-shaded acres in Austin’s artistic Bouldin Creek neighborhood. Originally an 1895 homestead, the property features two dining venues—historic Mattie’s and casual Henry’s—plus an outdoor pool, fitness studio, and flexible event spaces. Surrounded by lush greenery and resident peacocks, guests can enjoy complimentary bikes and easy access to downtown for a serene yet connected stay.

Himalayas Hotel Shanghai (Shanghai, China) – Lifestyle Collection

Located in Shanghai’s dynamic Pudong district, this 412-room hotel sits atop the Shanghai Himalayas Center, offering direct access to the New International Expo Center and Century Park. Blending modern design with Chinese heritage, rooms feature custom dark wood furnishings and traditional decor. Guests can relax in the jade atrium’s reflection garden, enjoy spa treatments in private suites, and savor Michelin-starred Shanghainese cuisine at Shang-High Cuisine.

Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn (Aigen im Ennstal, Austria) – L.V.X. Collection

Set in an alpine valley beneath Austria’s Grimming peak, Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn offers 110 uniquely styled rooms and suites in a restored 11th-century castle. Highlights include a full-service spa, 18-hole golf course, Alpine-Mediterranean dining, and experiences like hiking tours, yoga, and wine tastings.
