PHOTOS: Cancun's Le Blanc Spa Resort reopens

Following a series of renovations, the luxurious Le Blanc Spa Resort has just reopened.

The transformation touches upon all aspects of the resort, including the renovation of its rooms and restaurants.

Rooms with a view

The adults-only hotel is located 24 km from the Cancun airport and about 14 km from the city centre. 

The new rooms are spacious and bright, with breathtaking views of the coast, and done up to showcase high quality linens, contrasting woods and elegant décor.

With 24-hour room service, free wi-fi, butler and nightly turndown service, in-room double whirlpool tubs, a spa hydrotherapy area, unlimited phone calls to the Continental U.S., Canada, and landlines in Mexico, and much more, guests of Le Blanc Spa Resort can expect luxury around every corner.

There are several room categories available:

• The Royale Honeymoon Oceanfront: equipped with a double whirlpool with views of the Caribbean Sea, Apple TV with WiFi connection and special apps including, iTunes, Netflix and more.
• Royale Deluxe Resort View: cream-colored marble with decorative accents, king-size bed or two double beds, a double whirlpool bath, a sitting area, a French balcony overlooking the resort, an Apple TV with WiFi connection.
• Royale Junior Suite: features chic elegance with soothing, off-white design, Apple TV with WiFi connection and special apps including, iTunes, Netflix and more.
• Royal Governor: creamy marble design that boasts a large living room with plush sofas, located in the hotel’s prime spot for viewing the Caribbean Sea, viewed by the suite’s French balcony and a full balcony, Apple TV with WiFi connection and special apps including, iTunes, Netflix and more.

Wining and dining 

Le Blanc Spa Resort has five bars, four restaurants, and 24-hour room service:

• Bella: Italian
• Lumiere: fine-dining
• Yama: Japanese
• Blanc: curated buffet

The resort also has a swimming pool with views of the sea, a fitness centre, a sauna and steam rooms, and also a spa that offers health care services and relaxation, such as massages, hydrotherapy, and even a beauty salon.
