Palace Resorts to welcome agents

Palace Resorts is to host the fourth annual Palace Experience Global Conference on Oct. 1-4, 2017, taking place for the first time at the brand’s signature resort in Ocho Rios, Moon Palace Jamaica.

Members of the travel industry including agents, tour operators and industry insiders from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and Europe will travel to the resort for a four-day conference featuring a range of scheduled events relevant to their work.

Events for agents

Agents can meet with key Palace Resorts executives and attend informative and educational presentations, putting an emphasis on utilizing social media strategies and effectively selling destination weddings.

The closing events will include a black-tie gala with awards for top agents in the categories of Top Destination Wedding Travel Agency, Top Home-Based Travel Agency, Top Producing Travel Agent, Top Producing Travel Agency, Top Producing Destination Agent – Mexico, and Top Producing Destination Agent – Jamaica.

Attendees will also take part in exclusive excursions of their choosing, including Konoko Falls, Mystic Mountain, snorkeling, Chukka River Tubing, Sun Valley Plantation, or swimming with the dolphins on-property – all of which can be booked using the Palace Resorts signature $1,500 resort credit.

Keynote speakers

The conference will be headlined by keynote speaker Devon Harris, captain and founder of Jamaica’s national bobsled team which competed in the 1986 Winter Olympics.

Other guest speakers include Mike Marchev, Stuart Cohen and Rachel Rowley, each of whom will give insights into how to maintain customer loyalty, converting e-leads to sales, and a step-by-step guide on how to personalize and close leads.
