Time to rebuild

“Following the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria, we are rebuilding Meliá Coco Beach and showing our commitment to the island of Puerto Rico. Meliá Coco Beach will offer the high standard of accommodations that our guests have come to expect of Meliá Hotels & Resorts,” said Alvaro Tejeda, regional VP, the Americas. “We’re excited to welcome guests back for a beautiful escape on the island of Puerto Rico.”

Meliá Coco Beach is located via a 20-minute transfer from the airport to the front desk. The resort will offer 486 guest rooms, inclusive of 480 Junior Suites and six ocean front villas, offering travellers the largest standard room product on the island.

Revitalized rooms

All rooms have been completely redesigned, and each room is housed in a two-story bungalow with views of the ocean and gardens throughout the property.

Additionally, the resort will feature a variety of restaurants offering international cuisine to suit all tastes.

Meliá Coco Beach will offer THE LEVEL, with 126 Junior Suites and six oceanfront villas featuring the brand’s signature elevated service concept. THE LEVEL guests receive access to a private lounge with premium beverages and light bites served throughout the day, a pool for blissful relaxation, preferential bookings at additional on-property restaurants, concierge service and superior in-room amenities.

The new 41,280 sq. ft. meeting and event space has been designed to accommodate various size groups and features video mapping and state-of-the-art technology. The space includes an expansive ballroom that is perfect for any size meeting or event, and a foyer with floor-to-ceiling windows.
