Iberostar opens its newest hotel

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has opened its newest hotel, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Portals Nous. The grand luxury five-star hotel is the first establishment in the Mediterranean to be included in The Grand Collection, the company’s premium category.

The hotel’s 66 rooms include four double penthouses with a private terrace and jacuzzi, in addition to five unique themed suites designed by Marcel Wanders. The accommodation options also include a Game Suite, featuring a pinball machine, table football, videogame console and a putting green on the terrace.

The Heritage Suite offers a personal museum, while the Spa Suite features a personal sauna and in-room massages. The Stargazer Suite includes a sky of Swarovski crystal ‘stars.’ The hotel’s five-star standards include a butler service endorsed by the British Butler Guild, including a menu of special services.

The hotel has three spaces serving locally sourced organic products in the Astir Gourmet Restaurant, the Selini Lobby Bar and the Dom Pérignon Champagne Bar. Guests can also enjoy the Guest Experience, which offers unlimited personalized services such as reservations at any of Mallorca’s restaurants, access to a personal shopper or making a last-minute booking for a helicopter or boat ride.
