Iberostar debuts in Barcelona with latest city property

The Iberostar Paseo de Gracia has opened its doors in Barcelona, marking the chain’s first hotel in the city and the first of 15 new Iberostar properties set to open in 2018.

Located in a historic building in the heart of Barcelona’s Plaza de Catalunya, the four-star hotel features 119 rooms, including double rooms, rooms with city views or corner city views, rooms with or without terraces, and two duplex suites (the Tower Suite and the Barcelona Suite) with panoramic 360-degree views in the building’s tower. Guests can also enjoy a fully-equipped gym and a rooftop pool.

The hotel’s culinary offering includes Ca’s Menestral, specializing in the cuisine of the Balearic Islands and Mallorca, in addition to offering a variety of international dishes; and the Mmmallorca Coffee Bakery Bar, serving delicacies such as Soller orange or almond ice creams in the hotel lobby. A sky bar in the penthouse is also available, divided into several areas with one of the best views for gazing on the Barcelona sunset.

The Iberostar Paseo de Gracia is part of the hotel chain’s urban property segment, one of three new categories created in conjunction with Iberostar’s recent rebranding.
