Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection invites Canadians to be “time rich,” reports double-digit growth
“Time here is worth more” is more than just a slogan for the entire Hyatt Portfolio. It’s a statement built on research and experience.
“Hyatt took a step back to understand travellers,” said Carolina Bellina, senior director of Canadian sales for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, during an intimate sit-down lunch with journalists at the Hotel X in Toronto on Wednesday (Oct. 29).
Hyatt’s “Time Rich Report,” released in September 2025, identified that what travellers wanted most was time.
Traveller priorities now include the desire to reclaim quality time, in three different ways:
- Family First, Devices Second: The Need for More Intentional Time
- Reclaiming Romance, One Trip at a Time
- The New Self-Care – Solo Travel with a Purpose
The Inclusive Collection has collaborated with bestselling author and New Age guru Deepak Chopra, M.D., to create “Mindful Moments,” an app offering tools to help guests reflect during their stay by communicating with DeepakChopra.ai to customize their needs.
“Canadians are amazing tourists,” said Bellina. “They’re taking the time to recharge and relax. Not all societies do that.”
The numbers bear out the sentiment, with Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection seeing double-digit growth year over year (2025 versus 2024, and 2026 versus 2025 predictions) for bookings out of Canada.
Bellina is also proud of the brand’s commitment to local communities in outreach as well as their food programming.
“People are looking for culinary experiences,” she said. “They want to try local foods and engage with locals. They want to feel the destination. We try to involve the locals with our hotels.”
Concierges at the Inclusive Collection hotels can help guests organize local tours that take them off property, which is something customers are asking for more and more.
Hitting the road
The Hyatt Inclusive Collection team was in Toronto last night to host 160 Canadian travel advisors, who were invited to connect with representatives from 20 different properties as part of their “Hyatt Canada Road Show.”
The series kicked off in Montreal on Oct. 28, with 140 travel advisors in attendance, and will move to Vancouver today (Oct. 30), with 130 travel advisors registered for the event.
The advisors will collect stamps from each hotel as they meet and discuss opportunities, and with all 20 stamps collected will be eligible to win one of 20 prizes – one from each property, for a three night stay for two people.
