Hotel Xcaret opening second property in 2019
A second Hotel Xcaret property will be coming to Mexico next year, following strong occupancy rates recorded at the brand’s recently-opened first hotel.
This week, Destino Xcaret announced that only four months after the opening of Hotel Xcaret Mexico, the property reached occupancy rates surpassing 90 per cent in the first quarter of 2018. The announcement was made during the 43rd edition of Tianguis Turistico in Mazatlán, Mexico by Francisco Gutierrez, CEO of the Hotels Division of Destino Xcaret.
“Hotel Xcaret Mexico in an unprecedented project within the hotel industry. We created a new concept – All-Fun Inclusive - that has allowed us to offer a comprehensive product, with unlimited access to all of Experiencias Xcaret’s parks and tours, including transportation services and meal plans,” said Gutierrez. “With the success of our offering we have transformed the hospitality landscape in Mexico, by combining traditional art and culture with innovation and sophistication. As we look to the future, we are confident that we are on the right path.”
During the conference, the brand also announced plans for a second hotel project, La Casa de la Playa. Set to open in summer 2019, the ecologically-inclined boutique hotel will feature 63 suites with private plunge pools, categorized in three concepts: Nature, Fun and Wellness. The property will also house four restaurants, two pools, a spa, a mezcaleria, chocolate confectionary shop, wine cellar and a library.
