Hotel Xcaret Mexico opens in Cancun

Hotel Xcaret Mexico, Experiencias Xcaret’s first five-star hotel, officially opened in Cancun last weekend, blending luxurious accommodations, first-class service and amenities, as well as complimentary access to eight nature parks and tours.

More than 2,000 guests attended the Dec. 2 grand opening, where they had the opportunity to discover the new hotel through a selection of experiences and happenings that took place in different areas of the property.

The 900-room property includes two special retreats: Casa Fuego, an adults-only oasis with private spaces and amazing vistas; and Casa Agua, offering a more holistic experience and catering to those looking for a more tranquil setting, providing direct access to The Muluk Spa.

The property’s All-Fun Inclusive provides guests with unlimited access to Experiencias Xcaret’s eight nature parks and tours including Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, XplorFuego, Xoximilco, Xenses, Xichén and Xenotes. Guests can also easily roam the resort and park grounds with an innovative, and waterproof, wristband that provide access to the guestrooms, parks, and serves to make photo orders of experiences at the park.

Among other perks are airport shuttle service, 24-hour room service, complimentary Wifi, Kids and Teens Clubs and Babysitting services upon request.

The property features 10 distinct restaurants include and eight different bars. The concept at Ha’ restaurant is led by Michelin star Chef Carlos Gaytan, who was also a “Top Chef” contestant.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico is the beginning of a 10-year plan for Destination Xcaret, which includes a development that will span more than 914 acres and will have 6,000 guestrooms at its completion. Plans also include a stadium that will be able to accommodate 12,000 spectators, a convention center, a shopping center and culinary destination called Pueblo del Río.
