First look at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge ahead of 2027 opening
Walt Disney World Resort will open reservations for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge to all guests on Oct. 8, ahead of the new resort’s scheduled opening on July 1, 2027.
Disney Vacation Club members will have early access to rental reservations on Oct. 6, followed by Walt Disney World Annual Passholders on Oct. 7.
Located along the shores of Bay Lake, the nature-inspired resort will feature 967 rooms, with accommodation ranging from studios to spacious villas and freestanding waterfront Lake Houses.
Disney also unveiled a first look at Branch & Brush, a new lounge offering handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake. Its design will reflect the changing seasons through natural textures, artwork and a colour-changing chandelier.
The resort’s lobby will draw inspiration from Pocahontas, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, an illuminated fibreoptic river and a suspended glass sculpture with hundreds of leaves.
Options for families and larger groups
Accommodation will incorporate artwork and design elements inspired by Disney films including Encanto, Bambi, Fantasia and Brother Bear.
The new one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses will accommodate up to five and eight guests, respectively. Each will feature a private waterfront porch, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer.
One- and two-bedroom villas will sleep up to five and nine guests, while three-bedroom grand villas will accommodate up to 12, providing options for larger and multigenerational families.
Select club-level rooms will include access to The Artist’s Nest, a concierge lounge offering refreshments and views of Magic Kingdom fireworks.
Dining and recreation
Dining venues will include Moonglade, a waterfront table-service restaurant; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, located near the pool.
The resort’s outdoor recreation area, The Wetlands, will feature a lazy river, children’s play areas and a zero-entry pool with a spiral waterslide. A separate leisure pool and whirlpool spa will offer evening views of Magic Kingdom fireworks.
Guests will also have boat transportation to Magic Kingdom.
