Dreams Resorts & Spas is expanding its collaboration with MasterChef Junior, introducing a new slate of family-focused culinary experiences at select resorts across Mexico and the Caribbean.

Called MasterChef Junior: Next Course, the program builds on the resort brand’s existing partnership with the culinary competition series, part of the globally recognized MasterChef franchise.

The expanded program introduces new menu items, interactive culinary activities and hands-on experiences aimed at encouraging children and families to explore new foods, flavours and cooking skills while on vacation.

Signature MasterChef Junior activities will continue to be offered at participating Dreams Resorts & Spas, including the Mystery Box Challenge, which puts young guests’ creativity to the test, as well as surprise poolside pop-ups and exclusive menu offerings created by MasterChef Junior Season 9 winner Bryson McGlynn and finalist Remy Powell.

Among the new additions is a limited-edition menu created by McGlynn featuring elevated comfort-food favourites inspired by his Southern roots.

Powell, meanwhile, has developed a collection of signature desserts drawing inspiration from Italian, French, Mexican and Asian cuisines.

The junior chefs have also created signature mocktails, including Bryson’s Berry Breeze and Remy’s Resort Refresher.

Families will also be able to participate in a new cooking class, where parents and children can prepare McGlynn’s Street Corn Dip recipe together.

Additional interactive programming will encourage young guests to discover new foods, flavours and cultures.

"The most memorable family vacations aren't defined by where you go, they're defined by the moments you share together,” said Hyatt Inclusive Collection’s vice president of global brands, Ana Tomicevic, in a press release.

“MasterChef Junior: Next Course reimagines what family vacations can be by inviting children to step into the role of chef, discover new flavors, and actively participate in their vacation. Through this experience, we're transforming food into a catalyst for discovery and lifelong memories."

Dreams says the program is designed to go beyond traditional family resort activities by giving children opportunities to build confidence and creativity through food.

Young guests can take part in the Mystery Box Challenge, sample dishes created by the MasterChef Junior contestants and learn recipes alongside their parents.

The programming is included as part of the Unlimited-Luxury experience at participating Dreams Resorts & Spas and is complimentary for guests.

Families also have access to the brand’s reservation-free gourmet dining, premium beverages, kids and teen clubs, activities and live entertainment.

MasterChef Junior experiences are currently available at select Dreams Resorts & Spas in Mexico and the Caribbean, with additional properties set to introduce the refreshed MasterChef Junior: Next Course program throughout 2026.
