Couples Resorts hosted a successful gathering for CAA travel advisors on April 14 at the CAA Head Office on Bank Street in Ottawa, ON.

The culturally-immersive night, in partnership with the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), welcoming top-producing agents and managers, followed a successful day at the CAA Conference held at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier.

Throughout the event, guests were transported to the heart of the Caribbean with interactive experiences designed to capture the essence of Jamaica and the Couples Resorts brand.

A vibrant tie-dye station brought bursts of colour and creativity, while the Jamaican dry rub station gave guests a flavourful taste of the island’s rich culinary heritage.

Advisors also had a chance to connect with Couples Resorts – known for its romance and relaxation – the JTB, CAA, airline partners, and other industry suppliers.

Francine Allen, director of sales Canada at Couples Resorts, expressed her appreciation for the advisors’ ongoing partnership and support.

She also took the opportunity to share a reminder of what sets Couples Resorts apart – “its dedication to creating unforgettable moments through adults-only romance, world-class service, and the warm, genuine spirit of Jamaica."

“It was such a pleasure to spend the evening with our incredible CAA neo partners,” said Allen in a press release. “This event was about showing appreciation, reminding our agents of what makes our brand so special, and bringing a little piece of Jamaica to Ottawa in the most authentic way. At Couples Resorts, we don’t just sell vacations we create stories that couples carry with them forever.”

Oral Chambers, business development manager at the JTB, echoed the sentiment:

“Jamaica remains a leading destination for Canadian travellers, and this kind of immersive experience helps advisors connect emotionally with the island. We’re proud to work alongside Couples Resorts and CAA to strengthen those bonds,” Chambers said.

Also in attendance were Patricia Marques, managing director at CAA, Karen Taaffe, product development travel and groups, both of whom shared their appreciation for the continued collaboration, commitment to agent education, and shared vision for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
