Club Med Québec Charlevoix caters to dog lover and yogis this fall

Club Med Québec Charlevoix has announced two new experiences coming to its schedule this fall.

The first is for all the dog lovers out there: From Aug. 30 to Oct. 14, certain room categories will welcome dogs, allowing travellers to bring their beloved pets along for a relaxing getaway.

There’s a maximum of one dog per room and guests are required to bring all necessary items for their dog.

Dogs must be trained, controlled and kept on a leash at all times.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and any damages caused, and housekeeping will not be provided if dogs are left unattended in the room.

A fixed non-refundable cleaning fee of $150 + tax per dog applies for room cleaning and maintenance for the entire duration of the stay.

Dog insurance is compulsory, regardless of the length of their stay, and dogs must be walked in authorized areas.

And for yogis, Club Med Québec Charlevoix will host world-renowned yoga instructor Jonah Kest for its Wellness Fusion Festival from Sept. 1 to 6.

Krest, the resort’s official yoga ambassador for North America and the Caribbean, will lead yoga sessions that cater to all levels of practitioners.

There will be eight classes over four days, with two sessions each day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

Morning sessions will feature Signature Yoga Flow and Hip-Hop Vinyasa Flow, while afternoon workshops will focus on the art of inversions.

Classes will be conducted in both English and French, with translation assistance available.
