Canlink Travel adds Rosalie Bay
Luxury resort representatives Canlink Travel have added a new property to their portfolio of Caribbean Resorts with the addition of Rosalie Bay on the island of Dominica.
Effective immediately, Canlink will be responsible for all Canadian sales and marketing activities for this eco-boutique and wellness resort located on Dominica’s east coast.
The property’s 28 luxury rooms and suites are housed in nine cottages, each blending traditional Caribbean design with contemporary island style. The property features Batik artwork created by the local artists, in addition to furnishings which include hand-carved four-poster beds, armoires, writing tables and bathrooms with granite countertops and vessel sinks.
Each suite features a porch or balcony offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, Rosalie River or the tropical gardens as well as complimentary wi-fi, robes and slippers, beach towels, a coffee maker with complimentary tea and coffee and a mini-refrigerator.
Dining at Rosalie Bay is inspired by nature, with the Zamaan restaurant headed by Chef Seraphine, a local Dominica native. As well as Dominican favourites made from ingredients sourced from local fishermen, farmers and the property’s organic garden, a selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menu options are also available.
Rosalie Bay also prioritizes its commitment to sustainability; the property is powered by wind and solar energy, and it has partnered with WIDECAST to establish a sea turtle conservation program on the island. Guests of the property will be able to experience nature up close, with Dominica featuring over 300 miles of trails for all experience levels.
