Beaches Turks & Caicos isn't closing down anymore

In a surprise twist if events, Sandals Resorts International has decided to reverse the "indefinite" closure of Beaches Turks & Caicos.

The announcement to shut down the resort indefinitely came at the end of January last year, with Sandals stating that the resort would close down two times, from Sept. 3, 2019 to Oct. 15, 2019, and then again on Sept. 7 to Oct. 22, 2020, before it closes indefinitely.

The 758-room resort will remain open, and guests who had previously booked the property will not be impacted.

In a letter to travel partners, Gary Sadler, senior vice president, sales, Unique Vacations Inc./Sandals Resorts, said:

"Our hope is that you've come to love this award-winning resort as much as we do, so it's with great pleasure that we announce that the resort will remain open in 2020, 2021 and beyond."

Beaches Turks & Caicos is currently the largest all-inclusive, family-friendly resort in Turks and Caicos.
