Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun will leave Karisma’s portfolio on November 1, 2024, PAX has learned.

In a memo sent to travel advisors, Pamela Cruz, Karisma’s regional sales and marketing manager for Canada, writes that the property’s removal is part of an “evolution” of upholding standards and quality across Karisma’s properties.

“We are committed to making this transition smooth and seamless, ensuring minimal disruption to our mutual guest travel plans, and continue providing exceptional travel experiences, ensuring that each resort in our portfolio meets the highest standards of guest satisfaction,” Cruz writes.

Azul Beach Resort Negril, meanwhile, will remain in Karisma’s portfolio, Cruz notes.

The Azul Beach Resort brand and the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Chique will also remain under the ownership of Karisma, she adds.

Cruz goes on to remind preferred travel agents that they will continue to have access to the benefits of Karisma’s loyalty program.

She writes that Karisma is working closely with tour operator partners to ensure a smooth transition and that our guests receive the professional and attentive services they are accustomed to.

Agents with weddings and groups booked at the property on/or after Nov. 1st, 2024 are to contact Alejandro Perez at aperez@karismahotels.com for further instructions.

“We will provide support if you need support,” Cruz writes.

Travel advisors with questions or concerns are being advised to contact Karisma’s sales team here.
