Accor arrives on the Vegas Strip with Treasure Island

Accor has announced a new franchise partnership with Treasure Island in Las Vegas with owner Phil Ruffin, according to a July 23 press release.

As part of the deal, the property will join Accor’s Handwritten Collection later in 2025, becoming the second hotel-casino in the U.S. to be part of the international brand.

Under the partnership, the will be rebranded as Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Handwritten Collection.

In addition to the new branding, Accor will provide a full range of services, including sales and marketing, distribution, and access to its global loyalty program.

The signing further increases Accor's presence in the Americas region, with more than 550 hotels open and operating.

"The city's tagline is 'What happens here, only happens here', and certainly there is no other place in the world where a collaboration of this scale and significance could come together. The union of Treasure Island and Handwritten Collection creates a one-of-a-kind guest journey, where connections are treasured, wonder is discovered, and every stay is a narrative waiting to unfold," said Camil Yazbeck, global chief development officer of Accor, in a statement. "We are incredibly proud to partner with Mr. Ruffin and confident that together we can create a bigger and bolder future for this iconic hotel now that it sits within the Handwritten Collection portfolio and part of the Accor network."

The hotel will benefit from exposure to the ALL Accor loyalty program, which has 100+ million members and growing.

At Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Handwritten Collection, the hotel's unique design and playful charm—drawing inspiration from Robert Louis Stevenson's timeless adventure—create an experience that encourages guests to reconnect with their sense of wonder.

Amenities introduced by Mr. Ruffin, including complimentary valet and self-parking, will remain part of the guest offering.

Accor also reported that Treasure Island has recently undergone a multi-million-dollar update to enhance its comfort experience for guests as well as introduce new designs for the property.
