Sun, strategy, and service—Canada’s Boutique Travel Services is making waves in the Caribbean.

In a celebration of growth and giving back, the boutique-style host agency kicked off its ninth annual conference on May 24—this time in Jamaica.

With 42 travel advisors in attendance, this year marks the company's largest and most ambitious summit to date. Also in attendance is Racquel Queensborough from the Jamaica Tourist Board and Lee Zanello from Ensemble.

Held under the inspiring theme of “Passport to Prosperity,” the event is focused on a three-step roadmap designed to help advisors map, move, and multiply their travel business, company founder and CEO Laurie Keith told PAX.

Learning, luxury, local love

The week-long itinerary promises the perfect blend of learning, luxury, and local love.

Attendees are spending three nights at the beautiful Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica, followed by in-depth resort site inspections across the island.

The journey then continues with a two-night stay at the romantic Couples Swept Away, giving advisors firsthand insight into some of Jamaica’s top-tier accommodations.

And then comes the cherry on top: “Free Day Your Way.” Advisors can choose to relax at Ocean Hotels by H10, or seek out adventure with Chukka EcoPost, offering electric biking, zip-lining, and river rafting. But for many, the most meaningful option is the opportunity to give back.

As part of Boutique Travel Services’ ongoing commitment to responsible tourism, attendees can volunteer at The Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation, which empowers adolescent mothers to continue their education during and after pregnancy.

Advisors will be delivering gift purses to the young women and helping raise funds for much-needed desks and chairs for their school.

"We always reserve a day to give back to the community we are visiting,” said Keith. “Through the years, we’ve painted a kindergarten classroom in Costa Rica, assisted a community centre in Nuevo Vallarta with an outreach program to help locals start small businesses, raised donations for a local chef in Saint Lucia who lost everything in a fire, volunteered at an orphanage and more. It's one of my favourite parts of our trip.”

This year’s summit is not only a celebration of business success—it’s also a celebration of purpose, people, and the power of travel to create positive change.

Anyone who would like to make a donation to The Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation can do so before May 30 here
