20 agents, 11 suppliers: Travel Best Bets connects in Nanaimo
(Travel Best Bets)

Travel Best Bets brought 20 of its Vancouver Island-based Connected Agents together for the recent Travel Leaders Network (TLN) Nanaimo Mixer, offering a day of supplier networking, education and professional development.

The event connected Travel Best Bets advisors with 11 supplier partners, who shared product updates, sales insights and strategies aimed at helping agents grow their businesses and better serve clients.

Members of Travel Best Bets’ Home-Based Division leadership and administrative team travelled from Vancouver and Kelowna to attend, including Tracy Collinge, VP of home-based division; Matthew Medeiros, Connected Agent Program Coordinator; Scott Bender, Connected Agent training and development coordinator; and Wendy Nielsen, CA Admin Team & Home-Based Agent Support.

“Events like the TLN Nanaimo Mixer are so valuable because they bring our agents, our team and our supplier partners together face-to-face,” said Claire Newell, president of Travel Best Bets, in a press release.

“Our Connected Agents are building their own businesses, but they’re never doing it alone. Creating opportunities to learn, connect and strengthen industry relationships is an important part of the support and community we want them to have.”
