TripOppo and the China National Tourist Office (CNTO) are hosting a breakfast seminar in Calgary on May 8 to highlight the many reasons why China is on the map for 2026.

“Your Gateway to Asia,” held at the Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre, promises to give advisors the inside scoop on ways to sell China and make it a seamless experience for clients.

The event comes at a time when China is introducing changes that make travel easier by eliminating many of the logistical hurdles visitors once faced.

Notably, Canadians can now visit visa-free, removing the need for paperwork, fees, and lengthy processing times that were previously required.

The morning will highlight new high-speed rail links, regional initiatives, and practical tips for getting around the country with ease.

“Having this knowledge at your fingertips is what sets a great travel advisor apart—it’s about turning a "maybe" into a confirmed booking,” said TripOppo, which will also share its latest programs in Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, including how to build seamless itineraries.

The event takes place Friday, May 8 from 9-11 a.m. (MT) at the Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre. Email agent@tripoppo.com by May 2 to save a seat.
