Virtuoso Travel Week returns with new formats & expanded programming
Virtuoso Travel Week is set to return to Las Vegas from August 9–15 for its 37th edition, once again bringing together leading luxury travel advisors, agencies, and partners from across the globe.
The annual event will take place across multiple venues, including Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan and Vdara, and is expected to welcome participants from over 105 countries.
Described by Virtuoso as a space for building stronger business relationships and exchanging ideas, this year’s event includes changes to appointment formats based on attendee feedback.
Over 40% more matched appointments will be offered, allowing participants to request preferred contacts via Virtuoso’s proprietary scheduling system.
Assigned appointments will be available for those preferring a curated schedule, while self-selected appointments allow attendees to build their own networking agenda.
Two new activations debut this year: Themed Connects, focused on specific niches such as LGBTQ+ travel, new-to-network partners and luxury golf; and Mindfulness Rooms, designed to provide spaces for rest and reflection during the high-intensity week.
Returning programs include Community Globetrotting, which will run August 9–10 and spotlight Virtuoso’s cruise, adventure, culinary, wellness, ultra-luxe, family and sustainability communities.
Also returning is Braindate, a platform for small-group or one-on-one peer-to-peer conversations on user-submitted topics, available August 11–14.
The event will open with a keynote address by Will Guidara, former co-owner of Eleven Madison Park and author of Unreasonable Hospitality.
The closing gala will feature actor and musician Joel Jackson as MC, with a performance by Tony and Grammy award-winner Leslie Odom Jr.
Another key feature of the week is the Virtuoso Travel Tech Summit, now in its fourth year.
Led by Virtuoso board member and tech entrepreneur Gilad Berenstein, the summit will explore innovations in travel technology that aim to enhance—rather than replace—human connection.
Due to increased interest, the summit’s capacity has nearly doubled and is expected to draw 500 attendees.
Media engagement will also continue to be a part of the week’s programming.
More than 60 journalists from nine countries are expected to attend. The Editor’s Lounge will offer opportunities for one-on-one interaction with the editorial team behind Virtuoso, The Magazine.
Additional updates, including trend insights and award winners, will be shared throughout the week via Virtuoso’s social media channels.
