The St. Kitts Tourism Authority held its sixth annual travel agent appreciation event Tuesday (Oct. 28) at Capra’s Kitchen in Mississauga, ON.

The night welcomed 40 top selling agents to take part in an interactive culinary event featuring celebrity Chef Massimo Capra.

Under Capra’s guidance, the agents rolled up their sleeves and learned how to make Kittitian-inspired dishes.

On hand from the St. Kitts Tourism Authority was Canada Marketing Consultant Paul Minich, whose presentation spoke to the new “Do not Disturb” campaign for St. Kitts and the emerging trends of girls’ getaway trips and female solo travel.

"The "Do Not Disturb" campaign was launched in late September with a series of wrapped TTC streetcars in Toronto during a St. Kitts Street Party on Queens Street West. It's a very visible campaign to support the 45 per cent capacity lift with Air Canada,” said Minich in a press release.

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority will participate in the Granite Travel Trade Expos in November and then host its first global FAM trip.
