Virgin Voyages marks two-million-guest milestone, extends loyalty benefits
Virgin Voyages marked its two-millionth guest booking on Sept. 24 by surprising a repeat guest at its Miami terminal and announcing an extension of its Sailing Club benefits.
Jason, a seven-time guest from Leland, North Carolina, arrived at Terminal V with his wife, Patricia, for a sailing aboard Resilient Lady.
The couple was greeted by the line’s Happenings Cast and given an oversized envelope reading “One in Two Million. A Celebration for You.”
Their prizes included an upgrade to a Gorgeous Suite, a Shore Thing excursion in Key West, a cabana at the Beach Club at Bimini and a choice of a tattoo at Squid Ink or a treatment at Redemption Spa.
They also received a letter from Richard Branson, an invitation to the fleet-wide Sisters at Sea meetup in February 2027 and a trip for two to London with round-trip premium flights on Virgin Atlantic and a three-night stay at Virgin Hotels London Shoreditch.
Virgin Voyages also recognized Nereida, a First Mate from Florida.
For her third voyage, she will receive a Key West Shore Thing, a behind-the-scenes tour, a choice of a Redemption Spa treatment or Squid Ink credit, a Supper Club Series dinner show, a $200 Bar Tab and a cabana in Bimini.
Her prizes also include a letter from Branson and an invitation to Sisters at Sea.
The cruise line is extending its Sailing Club Blue Extras and Deep Blue Extras benefits through Dec. 31, 2028.
It is also bringing back its Status Match program, which accepts eligible loyalty status from more than 35 airline, hotel and cruise programs.
Travellers can submit their status for review from Sept. 24 through Oct. 31.
Once approved, they have until Oct. 31, 2026, to book a Virgin Voyages sailing.
