Virgin Voyages announces Alaska sailings for summer 2026

Virgin Voyages will deploy Brilliant Lady to Alaska for the summer 2026 season.

The newest ship in Virgin's fleet will operate 17 voyages to 12 destinations between May and September 2026. 

Seven- to 12-night itineraries will depart from Seattle and Vancouver with stops in Alaska and Canada's northwest, including Ketchikan, Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord and Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

The MerMaiden voyage (May 21-28) departs from Seattle with calls at Ketchikan, located in the Tongass National Forest, and Sitka before sailing up Tracy Arm Fjord. 

The itinerary includes a stop in Prince Rupert before returning to Seattle.

Brilliant Lady features balconies in 86% of cabins. 

Shore excursions will include options such as salmon fishing, glacier trekking, lumberjack shows and dog sledding. 

The season coincides with peak orca viewing opportunities, with chances to spot bald eagles, seals and humpback whales.

This brand is charting new paths, and the sold-out response to our Front(ier) of the Line passes earlier this year showed us just how sought after our Alaskan itineraries are," said Virgin Voyages' CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu.

"We continue to reach for the high seas with our itineraries, with Brilliant Lady being no exception. Soon our Sailors can visit one of the world's most incredible destinations on the No. 1 cruise line, all while enjoying new and exciting artists, chefs and musicians that bring the Virgin vibe."

Presale access for Front(ier) of the Line passholders opens this week, with general sales beginning November 13. 

The line is also adding a seven-night itinerary from Los Angeles with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.

Brilliant Lady begins her inaugural North American season in September 2026 in New York, with subsequent voyages from Miami, Los Angeles and Seattle, including a 16-night Panama Canal sailing.
