Uniworld launches new advisor course previewing 2026–27 plans
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has released a new Uniworld University course for Canadian travel advisors, offering a preview of the line’s 2026 and 2027 plans, including its 50th anniversary programming, new ships and expanded land experiences.
“As we celebrate 50 years of Uniworld, we’re not only reflecting on our legacy, but looking ahead to a future shaped by even more immersive and innovative experiences,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises.
“This new course is designed to give our travel advisor partners an inside look at where we’re headed – from new Super Ships to expanded journeys that go beyond the river – and equip them with the insight and tools to inspire their clients and drive bookings with confidence.”
Uniworld says advisors who complete the course will receive access to travel advisor rates, CLIA certification credits, recognition as a Preferred Specialist on the Uniworld website and a Uniworld Preferred Specialist badge.
What the course covers
New ships and fleet expansion
Uniworld plans to operate a fully Super Ship fleet by 2027, beginning with the debut of the S.S. Emilie in March 2026.
The company describes Emilie as its first new build since 2020, inspired by Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and named for his muse Emilie Flöge.
Additional ships slated for 2027 include the S.S. Audrey, S.S. Marlene and S.S. São Rafael, plus Aqua Blu, an expedition yacht operated in partnership with Aqua Expeditions, offering voyages in Indonesia and Singapore twice a year.
50th anniversary programming and themed sailings
For 2026, Uniworld says its 50th anniversary plans include onboard activations, a “Golden Party” on European sailings, a 50-night Rivers of the World itinerary aboard S.S. Emilie, and three Mystery Cruises. Uniworld says the April Mystery Cruise will serve as the second leg of the 50-night Rivers of the World cruise.
New “Cruise & Tour” itineraries
Uniworld says it will introduce new “Cruise & Tour” journeys in 2027 in partnership with sister brand Luxury Gold, combining river cruising with small-group land travel. Examples include:
- Revel in Switzerland & the Danube (17 days, Geneva to Budapest)
- Discover Portugal & Spain (20 days, Madrid to Porto)
- Experience the Best of Italy (19 days, round-trip from Venice)
New itineraries in Europe and Southeast Asia
Uniworld also previewed additional 2026 and 2027 itineraries, including:
- Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition (13 nights), combining stays in Bali and Singapore with an expedition cruise on Aqua Blu
- Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems (11 nights), pairing Paris and Prague stays with a Rhine-Moselle cruise on S.S. Audrey
- Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps, combining hotel stays in Paris and Zurich with Rhine and Moselle sailing on S.S. Audrey
