Travellers can chart their own course with Avalon in 2020

This is the tone for 2020 as Avalon Waterways introduces a new program called “Your Way,” which lets river cruisers customize their European vacations while utilizing sister companies Monograms and Globus.

The personalized service allows travellers to book their cruise and then integrate add-ons, such as land excursions and guided sight-seeing; a Monograms independent vacation that comes with hand-picked hotel accommodations, city sightseeing and the on-site services of a local host and expert; or a Globus-escorted vacation with included sightseeing, hotel accommodations, transportation and coach driver, tour director and certified local guides.

The new YourWay program is designed to make it easier for travellers to extend their river cruise vacation with land itineraries that work within their budget. This can be done either before or after their Avalon cruise.

The company’s AvalonGO App also helps travellers explore each port of call throughout their cruise independently with a detailed itinerary, a list of nearby attractions (featuring hours of operation, historical facts and more), maps, directions as well as local cafés, restaurants, bars and entertainment options.

Current promos include the Suite Life Sales Event: book a select 2020 Europe river cruise and receive $499 airfare per person from select Canadian gateways and $1,200 savings per couple.
