Specialty dining plans unveiled for Crystal Grace

Crystal has released new renderings of specialty dining venues aboard its upcoming ship Crystal Grace, set to debut June 11, 2028.

The preview highlights three signature restaurants — Umi Uma, Osteria d'Ovidio and Beefbar — along with expanded outdoor dining areas across multiple venues.

A shared bar connecting Beefbar and Osteria d'Ovidio is designed to create a cohesive dining flow between the two venues.

All spaces were designed by Tillberg Design of Sweden in collaboration with Crystal's culinary partners.

Umi Uma, created in partnership with chef Nobu Matsuhisa, will return onboard with Japanese-Peruvian dishes, including sushi and signature items such as Nobu-style Black Cod and grilled Chilean sea bass.

Located on Deck 5, the 84-seat restaurant will feature a sushi bar for walk-in dining alongside a main dining room available by reservation.

A full-height glass wall will offer ocean views.

Osteria d'Ovidio, developed with three-Michelin-starred chef Massimiliano Alajmo and restaurateur Raffaele Alajmo, will offer Italian cuisine across three menu sections.

The Deck 10 venue will include 68 indoor seats and 20 outdoor seats, with a covered terrace designed for open-air dining.

Beefbar, created with restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi, will return with its modern steakhouse concept.

Also located on Deck 10, the restaurant will feature 56 indoor seats and 58 outdoor seats on a covered terrace.

Across the ship, outdoor dining has been expanded, with covered terraces designed to extend restaurant spaces beyond their interiors.

"From the beginning, our vision for Crystal Grace was to build on the strength of our culinary partnerships while giving each venue a renewed sense of place and design. Working closely with our partners, chef Nobu Matsuhisa, chef Massimiliano Alajmo and Riccardo Giraudi, we've refreshed each restaurant with thoughtful design updates and the flexibility to introduce new menu elements over time," said Gunter Lorenz, vice president of food & beverage operations for Crystal.

"The result is a collection of dining experiences that feel both familiar and excitingly new for our guests. We're especially excited about the beautiful outdoor dining spaces, which will allow guests to enjoy exceptional cuisine in the open air — something we know will become a favorite part of the experience at sea."
