Silver Muse ready to sail

Silversea’s new Silver Muse will begin an extensive 69-day Grand Voyage on Jan. 3, 2018.
The first leg of the journey is a roundtrip form Fort Lauderdale, FL, after which the ship will visit some of the most remarkable and culturally enriching places in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Silver Muse is set to explore 34 ports in 14 countries, and passengers on board can enjoy luxury sailing in an immersive environment.
Highlights include a crossing of the Panama Canal, cruising Chile's majestic fjords, a three-day stopover in Rio de Janeiro in time for Carnival, plus overnight calls in Valparaiso, Punta Arenas, Buenos Aires and Manaus, nestled in the heart of the Amazon.
“Grand Voyage 2018 is perfectly tailored to travellers who have the time and passion to indulge in travel on a grand scale. It combines adventure and immersive cultural experiences with leisurely days wrapped in the exquisite luxury and impeccable service of our beautiful new Silver Muse," said Mark Conroy, Silversea's managing director for the Americas.
On board the Silver Muse, guests will be treated to an onboard enrichment program featuring academic experts, local entertainment, and guest chefs who will showcase live cooking demonstrations and wine tastings.
As part of providing guests with an authentic South American experience, there will be local produce on board, representative of many of the destinations along the way.
Guests of the Silver Muse can enjoy personal butler service, ocean views, and all-inclusive amenities that enhance comfort and the sailing experience. Roundtrip transportation into town is also readily available for guests who wish to explore the destinations.
