Silversea unveils 2028-29 voyages with expanded Med. expeditions, Grand Voyage
Silversea has unveiled its 2028-2029 Voyage Collection, introducing its largest-ever program of Mediterranean Expedition voyages, Silver Nova's inaugural season in Northern Europe and a new 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage aboard Silver Dawn.
The new collection features 278 voyages departing between March 2028 and March 2029, visiting 497 destinations across 71 countries.
The program also includes more than 120 new or reintroduced ports of call across both classic and expedition itineraries. General sales open July 9, 2026.
"Our new 2028-2029 Voyage Collection reflects what Silversea does best – taking guests beyond the expected, to destinations and cultural moments that reveal the world in ways they didn't expect," said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea, in a press release.
"From Mediterranean Expedition voyages to an enhanced Antarctica Fly Cruise program and the 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage aboard Silver Dawn, this collection offers our guests a unique array of destination experiences, delivered in a way that only Silversea can."

“Let the World Surprise You”
Branded under the theme "Let the World Surprise You," the collection focuses on seasonal experiences, cultural events and destinations that smaller ships can access.
Many sailings have been timed to coincide with events such as the Monaco Grand Prix, Japan's matsuri festivals and Europe's grape harvest season, with longer port stays, late departures and more than 50 overnight calls.
Among the headline additions is Silversea's most extensive Mediterranean Expedition program to date.
Operated by Silver Wind, the voyages will explore destinations across the Adriatic, Greek Isles and Northern Africa, including Milos, Amorgos, Folegandros, Algeria's Algiers and Bejaia, Pantelleria off Sicily, and a cruise along Spain's Guadalquivir River to Sevilla.
Shore excursions will include Zodiac outings, guided hikes and cultural experiences.
The expedition lineup also expands across the Arctic, Greenland, Antarctica, the British Isles, Polynesia and the Galápagos, while Silver Endeavour will debut a new Baltic expedition program exploring Finland and Sweden.
Silversea is also enhancing its Antarctica Fly Cruise program. Beginning in the 2028-29 season, guests will start their journey with a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams, Chile, before boarding a private charter flight directly into Antarctica, allowing travellers to bypass the Drake Passage.
The company has scheduled 41 Antarctica voyages across Silver Cloud, Silver Endeavour and Silver Wind, including Christmas and New Year's departures.
The collection also marks Silver Nova's first-ever season in Northern Europe, sailing alongside Silver Spirit through Norway's Heritage Fjords and the Baltic. Meanwhile, Silver Spirit will make its maiden season in Canada and New England, featuring extended stays in Quebec City, Halifax and Boston.
Silversea will also offer several itineraries timed around major cultural events, including the Monaco Grand Prix, Japan's festival season, Scandinavia's midsummer celebrations and Europe's Atlantic coast grape harvest.
Culinary experiences through the cruise line's S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) program will continue to be featured throughout the collection, alongside new land programs in destinations including Finland and the Seychelles.
The 2028-29 collection also includes the Grand Mediterranean Voyage 2028 aboard Silver Dawn, a 60-day sailing departing Sept. 23, 2028.
The itinerary spans 50 destinations in 13 countries, with calls in Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Amalfi and lesser-visited ports including Menton, Naxos and Roses.
The voyage will also feature exclusive events, including a private evening on Yiasemi Street in Athens and a Papal experience in Rome during an overnight stay.
