Silversea to debut Pacific Coast explorations
Silversea Expeditions’ Silver Explorer will debut a collection of voyages through the Americas in 2018, with seven new expedition voyages tracing a path north from Ushuaia up the Pacific coastline to Vancouver.
“These new and exciting expeditions offer the modern-day traveller a chance to rediscover the naturally stunning and historically interesting west coast of the Americas,” said Conrad Combrink, Silversea vice-president of expedition planning and strategic development.
“Each of these unique expeditions will offer a wide variety of exploration activities – from exploring rich marine ecosystems by Zodiac, hiking in rainforests, discovering prolific wildlife, cruising historically important rivers, and exploring volcanoes, to savouring incredible cuisine. Our selection of expeditions, along the west coasts of these two great continents will impress and leave the most imtrepid traveller longing for more.”
The seven new expeditions include:
- Ushuaia to Valparaiso (14 days) Feb. 25-March 11
- Valparaiso to Callao (Lima) (10 days) March 11-21
- Callao (Lima) to Fuerte Amador (Panama City) (14 days) March 21-April 4
- Fuerte Amador (Panama City) to Puerto Quetzal (12 days) April 4-16
- Mazatlán to San Diego (11 days) April 21-May 2
- San Diego to Vancouver (11 days) May 2-13
- Vancouver to San Francisco (9 days) May 13-22
