Scenic's 2027 Europe program debuts fresh culinary-themed sailings

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has released its 2027 Europe River Cruising & Land Journeys brochure, with new culinary itineraries, a new ship on the Douro and expanded land extensions.

The program covers 15 countries and 12 waterways, with options for travellers to book a single cruise, combine multiple rivers or add land tours and extensions.

Two new culinary-themed departures will launch in 2027: 

• A Taste of the Danube – A Culinary Cruise will operate on May 22 and Sept. 4, offering a 10-day sailing through Central Europe with cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, brewery visits and curated dining. 
• Tastes of the Rhône – A Culinary Cruise will sail on April 26 and July 26, offering an eight-day itinerary through southern France centred on the region’s food and wine.

Scenic will also introduce Scenic Aria in September 2027. 

The new ship will sail Portugal’s Douro River alongside Scenic Azure, expanding access to itineraries including the 11-day Unforgettable Douro and eight-day Delightful Douro.

On land, Scenic is adding new extensions in Amsterdam, Berlin and the French Riviera. 

These can be paired with a range of Rhine, Rhône and Seine itineraries.

The company is also launching a new 13-day Switzerland land journey in 2027. 

Operating between Lausanne and Zurich, the itinerary includes travel by coach and panoramic rail, with stops in Zermatt, Lugano, Jungfraujoch and Mt. Titlis. 

It can be combined with select Rhine and Seine sailings.

Scenic is also offering launch incentives for early bookings, including free airfare and savings for bundled cruise and land packages:
