Regent Seven Seas unveils plant-based menu
Starting October 2019, more than 200 plant-based items will be offered on Regent's ships

In an effort to keep up with today’s ever-evolving palate, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed that it will debut a menu of plant-based cuisine across its fleet starting this fall.

Beginning October 1, 2019, more than 200 plant-based items will be offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner, the company announced yesterday (May 20th).

Among the imaginative selections include the vegan-friendly Impossible Burger, which will be offered for lunch.

Other new plan-based dishes include: the wild mushroom tart with brittle pie crust, mushroom duxelles and red pepper coulis; falafel fritters with harissa mayo, cucumber, mint, and capers; spiced potato and green pea samosas with tamarind chutney; and summer berry pudding chantilly.

Power bowls and poke bowls, pastas and noodles, salads and soups and a peach and blueberry cobbler with cornmeal-almond topping will also be offered.

The dinner options are equally mouthwatering. They include a caramelized apple tart with feta-cashew cheese, balsamic caramel; wild mushroom tart with brittle pie crust, mushroom duxelles, red pepper coulis; and baked porcini & spinach cannelloni, with toasted hazelnuts, tomato sauce, béchamel.

The healthy new items, which were developed by Regent’s culinary leadership team under the direction of Bernhard Klot, will be fully integrated into the daily menus on Regent's ships.
