Paul Gauguin to continue family-focused Moana Explorer voyages in 2027

Paul Gauguin Cruises will offer its Moana Explorer Program for a seventh consecutive year in 2027, with 12 sailings scheduled aboard m/s Paul Gauguin.

Developed in partnership with Te mana o te moana, a leading marine education and conservation foundation in the South Pacific, the complimentary program gives children aged six to 15 the chance to explore French Polynesia through hands-on, educational activities both on board and ashore.

Participants learn about coral reefs, endemic species and local ecosystems through experiences led by naturalists and conservationists. 

Depending on the itinerary, activities may include guided snorkelling, Polynesian crafts, water experiments, treasure hunts, stargazing and pool games.

The Moana Explorer Program will be available on the following 2027 itineraries:

7-Night Tahiti & the Society Islands
(June 19, June 26, August 14, August 21)

7-Night More Society Islands & Tahiti
(July 17)

10-Night More Tuamotus & Society Islands
(June 9, August 4, December 29)

11-Night Society Islands & Tuamotus
(July 24)

11-Night Cook Islands & Society Islands
(December 18)

14-Night Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands
(July 3, August 28)

The Moana Explorer Program will also be offered on select sailings in 2025 and 2026. 

Children 17 and under sail free when sharing a stateroom with their parents.
