Paul Gauguin Cruises announces new 2018 itinerary, shore excursions

Paul Gauguin Cruises is introducing a new 7-night Society Islands & Tahiti Iti itinerary for 2018, with new shore and scuba diving excursions also on offer. The cruise line is set to become the first to visit the land mass of Vairao.

Tahiti Iti will also be featured on a special sailing of the 10-night Society Islands & Tuamotus voyage, departing on Sept. 19, 2018. The Society Islands & Tahiti Iti voyages will depart and return to Papeete, Tahiti and visit Huahine, Society Islands; Motu Mahana (Taha’a), Society Islands; Bora Bora, Society Islands (overnight); Moorea, Society Islands and Vairao, Tahiti Iti, with departures on June 30, Aug. 25, Oct. 6 and Nov. 3, 2018.

Shore excursions to feature on the cruise line’s itineraries in Tahiti Iti include the Bonjouir’s Garden of Eden nature sanctuary, Tahiti Iti Lagoon & Teahupoo Surf Point Cruise, a half-day tour of the island by e-bike, and a golf excursion. Certified and experienced divers, meanwhile, can partake in the SCUBA The Marado and SCUBA The Sea Fans diving offerings.
