Oceania unveils star-studded 2027 Specialty Sailings

Oceania Cruises is putting cuisine, culture and expert-led experiences at the forefront of its 2027 Specialty Cruises collection, unveiling a series of sailings hosted by celebrated chefs, television personalities and travel experts.

The luxury cruise line says the new lineup is designed to pair destination-focused itineraries with exclusive onboard programming that offers travellers deeper connections to the places they visit.

Spanning the Mediterranean, Baltic, and Japan, the voyages combine culinary demonstrations, tastings, lectures and curated shore experiences with appearances by personalities.

“Our 2027 Specialty Cruises represent the pairing of port‑rich itineraries with hosts who bring true depth, access and perspective,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “Each voyage has been created to connect guests more meaningfully with the cultures they’re exploring through experiences that are only available on these specialty sailings.”

Several cruises will feature culinary personalities, including Claudine Pépin, president of the Jacques Pépin Foundation and daughter of legendary chef Jacques Pépin, alongside chef, author and television host Sara Moulton. Oceania Cruises' Executive Culinary Directors and Master Chefs of France, Chef Alexis Quaretti and Chef Eric Barale, will also host select sailings.

Beyond the culinary focus, the collection also includes a voyage hosted by travel expert and television personality Samantha Brown.

Sailing from Trieste to Barcelona aboard Oceania Allura in November 2027, the itinerary will feature Brown's destination insights and conversations designed to help travelers better understand the history and culture of the Mediterranean ports they visit.

The season concludes with Oceania Cruises' Reunion Cruise aboard the new Oceania Aurelia.

The December sailing from Trieste to Athens will bring together Oceania Club members and first-time guests for a festive Mediterranean voyage hosted by Montague and Neli Arias, Head of the Oceania Club.

Among the highlights of the 2027 Specialty Cruises collection are:

• Culinary Luminaries Specialty Cruise – A 13-day sailing from Athens to Rome departing June 2 aboard Oceania Vista. Hosted by Chef Alexis Quaretti and Chef Eric Barale, the voyage showcases the culinary traditions of the Western Mediterranean through exclusive menus, tastings and demonstrations featuring guest chefs.
• Sara Moulton Specialty Cruise – A 14-day roundtrip voyage from London departing June 8 aboard Oceania Marina. The Baltic itinerary includes culinary demonstrations, exclusive events and a gala brunch led by Moulton, highlighting the region's distinctive flavors and food traditions.
• Claudine Pépin Specialty Cruise – An 11-day roundtrip sailing from Tokyo departing Sept. 30 aboard Oceania Riviera. Guests will explore Japan's culinary heritage through cooking demonstrations, storytelling, a gala brunch and select shore excursions with Pépin.
• Samantha Brown Specialty Cruise – A 10-day voyage from Trieste to Barcelona departing Nov. 7 aboard Oceania Allura, featuring destination-focused programming and insights from the veteran travel television host.
• Reunion Cruise – A 12-day sailing from Trieste to Athens departing Dec. 6 aboard the new Oceania Aurelia. The end-of-year voyage combines celebratory onboard events with immersive Mediterranean experiences for loyal guests and newcomers alike.
